Sleeptalk is about Insomnia. It tells a story of how we desperately try to silence the sound of blood rushing through our veins and thoughts racing through our heads by turning to "coyotes" - the sleeping pills we take. They claim to help us reach a quiet place. Throughout the song we learn that the only way to reach silence is to surrender to a loss of control, which will ultimately help to close the water lock on those racing rapids
of thoughts.
